Goldfields" by James Brodie, 1986, Karori Historical Society
This brochure contains a map of gold mining leases at Karori reservoir
area from 1869; an article from the Evening Post of 28 February 1935,
(from W H Bennetts recollections of visiting the gold diggings as a lad)
and information on the poor water quality in Wellington city which at that
time depended on creeks and roof supplies.
