Cannons Creek Restoration and Development : Belmont Regional Park

Wellington Regional Council and Friends of Maara Roa are working
together to prepare a restoration and development plan for the Cannons
Creek Valley, an area which is also known as Maara Roa.
The project area covered in this report includes two landowners Porirua
City Council and Landcorp. Porirua City Council owns the Cannons Creek
Lakes Reserve; Landcorp owns the rest of the project area. Both areas fall
within the boundaries of Belmont Regional Park, which is administered
and managed by Wellington Regional Council.
