We have a work programme to change our plans:

Regional Policy Statement (RPS): a framework for how we manage natural and physical resources in an integrated way across our Region.

Natural Resources Plan (NRP): an integrated plan for our coast, land, water and air.

The changes to our plans will focus on implementing new national direction, the Wellington Regional Growth Framework, and Whaitua recommendations.

Wellington Regional Council (Greater Wellington) has prepared Proposed Change 1 to the Regional Policy Statement to make changes to the Regional Policy Statement to account for new national direction and to address resource management issues in the Wellington Region.
